Math outside at the Inside Outside School

Here we have a spontaneious triangle formation.  Who knows why.  Just something to do during outside free time.  It is close to an equilateral triangle.  Could we compute the perimeter?

This one shows the creation of an array, 2x2 made in the creek with elephant toenail fossils.  Another spontaneious expression of math concepts.  We had been creating arrays on paperdoll outfits to explore square numbers and square roots inside at the Inside Outside School in the primary math class.
