Inquiry Quest Meetings

We are committed to individual learning plans that will help each student reach their greatness.  Each semester an IQ meeting will take place to develop this plan for the student.

A body of inquiry questions is generated collaboratively by each student along with their faculty advisor and parents every semester specifically for that cycle of learning.  The questions lead to deep meaningful exploration that engages the student intellectually, emotionally, and physically.  These questions will guide the process of developing a learning plan.  We will use the student's strengths, curiosity, interests, and needs to create a learning plan that best supports the full growth of that student.  Goals will be outlined and course work will be scheduled to fulfill the learning plan.  Students, with guidance from parents and staff, will be expected to engage in a self-reflective process about the work they are doing during the course of  the semester.

An IOS Expo Day will take place each semester to share the students' work with the community.
