What is Philosophical Friday?
Philosophical Friday is an informal social gathering for kids and parents alike. It begins immediately after school when you pick up your kid(s). Think of it like a laid back potluck/happy hour. It's a great way to get more connected to the campus, parents, kids and teachers in our community. Also, it's FUN. The kids always have a blast!
When: Select Fridays immediately after school - 7 or 7:30pm (the last 20 mins is dedicated to clean up)
Where: IOS campus outdoors
Who can come: all family members are welcome to attend.
What to bring: Food, drinks and treats to share. Show up with a hot cheese pizza and you'll be the kids' favorite. Fruit goes a long way too. Some families choose to bring camping chairs for comfortable seating.
Parking: Please arrive at the end of pick up toward 3:45p to allow space for the carpool line to flow through the parking lot. Before 3:45p, parking will only be available on the road or at Deborah's house next door. Those that park at Deborah's will be able to walk through the backyard and the field to get to the school.
Bus Families: Your kiddos can stay on campus so long as you arrive by 3:45pm. Remember to let Cristine + the bus chat know if your kid(s) will not be riding the bus that day.
