What is Philosophical Friday?
Philosophical Friday is an informal social gathering for kids and parents alike. It begins immediately after school when you pick up your kid(s) from the theater. Think of it like a laid back potluck/happy hour. It's a great way to get more connected to the campus, parents, kids and teachers in our community. Also, it's FUN. It is often a favorite of kids and parents alike.
When: Select Fridays 3:45 - 6pm with the last 20 mins dedicated to clean up
Where: IOS campus outdoors
Who can come: all family members are welcome to attend.
What to bring: Food, drinks and treats to share. Show up with a hot cheese pizza and you'll be the kids' favorite. Fruit goes a long way too. Some families choose to bring camping chairs for comfortable seating.
Parking Options: Parking on the slab area opens at 3:40 to allow families not staying to pick up their children. Before then, parking is only available on the road, in the field (if it is not muddy), and at Deborah's house next door (the blue house). When parking at Deborah's, you can use the gate and walk through the field instead of walking on the road.
