Woodland Faire 2025We are so looking forward to gathering in community with everyone to share in the magic of IOS & the Woodland Faire!
Here's what you need to know: 1) If you haven't read yesterday's parking email, read it now, please! There is NO on-campus parking this year, so get yourself educated on this year's how-to. 2) T-shirts were given to students yesterday. Pre-purchased wristbands & tickets are coming home with your student TODAY! 3) With the exception of Shawarma Point, the Faire is mainly (and preferably) CASH (& tickets) ONLY! 4) Dinner will be offered by Shawarma Point food truck from 4:00pm to 6:00pm.
5) Concessions with snacks and drinks will be available for purchase in the woods for the second half of our evening. Cash preferred; Venmo accepted. 6) Wristbands, tickets, IOS Burro Bags (totes inspired by our donkey, Maybelline), & a limited number of 2025 Woodland Faire t-shirts will be available for purchase at the Faire. 7) What to wear: If you enjoy getting into character, you're invited to arrive in dragon-themed attire. Ren-Faire-style wardrobe also encouraged. Otherwise wear your Woodland Faire shirt! 8) We recommend closed, sturdy shoes for the uneven ground of IOS campus, especially in the woods, which will be dark. Boots are optional; The ground is dry & the weather forecast is great! 8) PRO TIP: Screenshot or Save the attached program for reference throughout the Faire. 9) Please note that there will be a short break following the student performance before the Faire transitions to the woods when everyone will be invited in.
